Our Forums package is PHPbb, a high powered, fully scalable, and highly customizable Open Source bulletin board package.
It features a user-friendly interface, simple and straightforward administration panel, and helpful FAQ, and is based on the powerful PHP server language and a MySQL database.
This is the same software that runs all of the major website forums that you visit.

This feature relies on PHP scripting and a MySQL database.
Security:
Security is a priority, so it incorporates a powerful and extensive authorisation system, strong encryption to keep passwords safe in the database, and
offers support for both cookie and URI-based sessions.
Posting Messages:
Messagees can be formatted with various font styles and sizes as well as allowing quoting, code display, image posting and automatic URL linking.
Included is support of standard and extended BBCode tags and controlled HTML tags.
Polls can be simply added to posts, and Email notification of replies to your topics are available.
Moderation / Administration Features:
Moderators have access to topic editing, mass delete/move/lock/unlock of posts,
topic splitting, and an option of auto-pruning of old or unanswered messages on a per-forum basis.
Administrators have access to general configuration,
Forum & category setup,
easy database backup and restore,
disallow usernames,
user authorisation,
word censoring,
complete member management,
emoticon setup from a giant library of emoticons,
optional new post verification,
and extensive ban management: ban by email address, username or single/multiple IP address or hostname.
Administrators can also employ IP tracking of posts and posters, and have the ability to
mass email groups and users.

Depending on your final needs and mods chosen at install, the Forum package runs anywhere from
$300 - $500. You can start off slow and add modules as you see fit using your prepaid hours.
In addition there may be a change in your hosting tier package, depending on what package you currently have.
You will be provided a detailed help file via a .pdf when you sign up for this feature. This file will include basic usage, as well as a reference to commonly used HTML tags for advanced features not readily available through the user interface. Support is always available, but
advanced support will be credited towards your pre-paid package of hours.
