This feature is available as an account feature upgrade, for those wishing for a richly dynamic photo gallery feature that will allow self-maintenence of their own site.
Since this is a
self-maintainable module (meaning something you the user will maintain), you should have some of the following characteristics
if you are considering having BigTime adding and integrating this feature
to your domain:

- You should be comfortable with computers in general with an intermediate level of computing experience.
- You should be resourceful and be able to find and refer to simple help files to solve your problems independently

Gallery is an add-on script module that provides an easy to use interface allowing you
to create and maintain photo albums on your website. A Gallery is a collection of photo albums. You can have as many Galleries as you want on your domain (providing you have the space of course). Each gallery contains as many photo albums as you want.
Once integrated it is a seemless looking technology that plugs right into your template.
Each album's appearance can be customized by its owner in a variety of ways.
You can change the title, colors, background, fonts, and borders. You can also specify
a target thumbnail size and a target intermediate photo size (so that folks with lesser
bandwidth can view scaled versions of big photos). The number of rows and columns in
an album is customizable, as well as a variety of viewer options. If you choose to have BigTime install and integrate
this feature all of this will be done for you, streamlining it within your site.

This feature relies on perl scripting. A photo or movie is the basic unit of Gallery. Photos and movies are grouped together into albums.
Gallery comes with a Java application called Gallery Remote that you can use to upload photos to your Gallery via a drag-and-drop interface. If this
become intimidating, there are several other methods available to easily add pictures to your Gallery from within the administration interface.
Once you have the photos in your album the fun begins. Typically an intermediate resized version and a thumbnail of the image are created for you. You can:

- Add captions
- Edit the thumbnail. Gallery comes with a small Java applet that lets you select a part of the image as the source for your thumbnail.
- Rotate your photo (in 90 degree increments)
- Highlight a photo (pick a photo to represent the album in the main Gallery)
- Order the photos in the album
- Hide photos (so that they're only visible to you)
- Delete photos
- Sort your album based on popularity, title, number of comments, and photo capture date.
- Edit multiple captions at once

Albums initially display a group of thumbnails of your
photos. From there users can click on the thumbnail to see a larger version,
or choose to browse the album through a fantastic slideshow interface. Optionally you can provide a
way for users to have an image printed and mailed to them (this is free to you, that album owner) via several photo printing shops.
A search feature is also included to allow all albums and photos to be searched by keyword(s).

This is a very basic template, but it is meant to allow you to see the ease of use of the administration area.
This album has the optional features enabled allowing the ability for visitors to comment on items, and the drop down menu
to order a photo through one of the outsourced solutions, although I do not suggest you actually use this last feature as the pictures contained within are not necessarily of a high
quality. Optional features not included are the ability for visitors to vote on items, giving your photos a ranking score.

There is a one time set up fee charge of $150 for this feature to be integrated within your domain.
You will have an unlimited amount of albums and sub-albums provided you have the disc space available.
In addition there may be a change in your hosting tier package, depending on what package you currently have.
You will be provided a detailed help file via a .pdf when you sign up for this feature.
This file will explain basic usage. Support is always available, but
advanced support will be credited towards your pre-paid package of hours.
